What exactly is a car radiator? A radiator is a block or assembly of materials that function to cool down and dissipate heat generated in a closed system. Cars, being very complex machines, have many parts that need to work in unison to keep the car cool during operation. Cars need their radiators to cool down the engines and lubricate the moving parts to ensure that the car performs properly. Radiators are basically heat exchangers, utilized for cooling the internal combustion engines in cars, mainly in hot engines but also in motorcycles, stationary generating plants, railway locomotives, or any other application using such an engine. The most important benefit of radiator systems is that they maintain excellent value for money. Car radiators come in two types; open and closed. In the case of a closed radiator, the cooling system is enclosed within the unit. This type of car radiator has a single pipe that is connected to the engine. This pipe is connected to a cooling system or a ... read more
