In his 23 years with us, Chuck has demonstrated remarkable professionalism through his admirable work ethic and his constant dedication to continued training, maintaining City Garage’s early adoption of industry updates and new technology. What would you say has impacted you the most (positive or negative) since you started working for City Garage?

What has impacted me the most is the wealth of knowledge I’ve accumulated in the positions I have held.


What’s one thing you’d do to improve the working environment at City Garage?

Air condition the shop, it gets hot in the summer.


How would you best describe your relationship with your coworkers at City Garage?  



What do you think is unique about City Garage compared to other companies in the auto repair industry?

Ethics, honesty and cleanliness.


Would you recommend City Garage employment to others?

Definitely, there’s a reason I’ve been here so long!


What’s the part of your job you like the best?

The satisfaction of identifying the problem and fixing it.


What’s the part of your job you like the least?

Working on cars that are rusted out from up north.


What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

Projects around the house and tinker with my cars.

Moved to Texas in 1978, originally from Albuquerque, NM


What is your favorite vehicle (one you’ve owned or dream car)?

Corvette Stingray or anything super-charged.


What local sports team do you root for most?

Dallas Cowboys


What’s your favorite local place, hangout, restaurant, bar?



What is something about you that might surprise your co-workers?

I’m a really nice guy.


What’s a personal goal you’ve set for yourself this year?

Travel more this year than I did last year.
